This is Jack, our senior sire. He is a beautiful double blue eyed black tri that we imported from Florida as a pup. He was from a litter of 4 tri’s that had 3 double blue eyed tri pups. Every litter that Jack has had there has been at least one blue eyed tri. He fathered 2 double blue eyed black tri girls that are now at Tonka’s Australian Shepherds in Oklahoma. Jack goes back to Champion Howard’s Wanagi Ishna-Ghost Eye, Three Oaks, Valhalla & Mockingbird bloodlines. Although Jack only stands 14 1/2” , he is out of a small standard female, so we do get the odd bigger pup. He throws good solid bone & an amazing amount of herding instinct. He will heel & head. This is our new boy Wil. We got him just before Christmas 2011 from Schaffert’s Australian Shepherd’s in Nebraska. He is such a good looking dog– should actually be shown– no shows up here in western Canada. Lol !!! He is producing some awesome pups with our girls. I have three blue merle girls –one home raised, one from Rimfire Kennels in Oregon & one from Cedar Crest Kennels in Kansas, to use on him next year. Can hardly wait as all three girls have a double blue eyed tri parent. Wil is a very laid back dog that would just lay his head on your lap for a pat all day if you let him. I would rate his cattle instincts as med.—he likes to do it, but doesn’t have the extreme drive that some of our other dogs do.
