Maddie is a cute little girl~ maybe 14" & 20 lbs. Loves attention & is good with other dogs, but can be intimidated by some larger dogs. Would do well in a household that already has a dog for company, but she would also do good as an only dog as well. Easy to work with on the grooming table. Light on the leash. She has NOT been exposed to children & but I am thinking if introduced properly, she maybe able to make the transition to a family dog fairly well. Dog door trained. Just a real sweet little gal. Low to medium drive for this girl. I have had Maddie offered for rehome for awhile now, but she is such an easy keeper, that I haven't ever pushed her. Will make someone a nice family pet. I have kept her daughter, Miss Squeak, for our program.

As with every Adult/older Puppy that we place, it is HIGHLY suggested to have them on a leash for the first 2-3 months as although YOU know that they are now part of Your family, the Aussie does NOT know that. They believe that they are only visiting you & may try to find their way back home to us. It can take anywhere from 2 months- a year before they will finally realize that you are now their home/family. So please know that it will take some time & effort on your part to integrate him/her into your lifestyle.
