Laramie had a litter of 7 Mini Aussie/MAS puppies on July 7/2023. Males- 4 Black Tris & 1 Red Tri. Females- 1 Black Tri, 1 Blue Merle & 2 Red Tris. I will be retaining the Black Tri & One of the Red Tri Females from this litter for our program. This is Laramie's 2nd & final litter for us as she will be flying out to Nova Scotia once this litter is weaned.
Laramie is a homegrown girl from Kate & Buckshot~ full sibling to Sedona.. She stands approx. 17 " & 30lbs. A solid girl that gives her babies her beautiful temperament. VERY people oriented. She does carry for the BET (Blue Eyed Tri) gene. I kept back a female from Laramie's previous litter by Farmer & am REALLY loving how she has developed- Ghost Eye's Lightin' Bug.
I believe Jimmy is the sire of this litter BUT Stoney managed to find a way into Laramie's pen one morning early in her cycle, so ALL of the pups are currently being DNA Parentage tested. Swabs were sent in a couple of weeks ago, but our mail system seems to be taking it's time with delivery eve though it was sent in express post... once I receive the results, I will post them. IF you are a Breeder & wish to reserve one of the pups, I will accept reservations with the stipulation that the sire is a specific one- Jimmy or Stoney... if the results should come back with the opposite of which you were wanting, then you would receive your deposit back & the pup would be posted as available once more....UPDATE 10/18/23- Jimmy came back as the official sire for Pups 1-6 & Stoney is the official sire of Pup#7.
Jimmy came to us from Maryland as a pup & stands 17 ". Jimmy brings some totally new lines into our program & I am excited to see how he crosses on our girls! This boy is approx. 35lbs. Really nicely put together, athletic fella. Just a happy boy that loves attention. Jimmy comes from some fine lines that have been winning down in the AKC circuit on the East Coast of the USA.
Stoney is a homebred boy from Billy & Lil' Joe. Gorgeous boy with a beautiful disposition, lovely movement & conformation. Stands approx. 16 1/2 " & 35 lbs. Just a really sweet guy with a lovely coat & 2 blue eyes. This would be Stoney's 2nd litter if any of the pups should end up being by him.
I am going to estimate that the pups in this litter will mature 15-20" & 30-40 lbs. This litter should have good dispositions, good conformation & great athletic ability. As they develop, you should notice their copper starting to darken/pop & their nose leather begin to fill in as they morph into puppies. If a pup has not been spoken for, his/her price may change as I re-evaluate him/her as they mature.
Laramie is a carrier for MDR1 & negative/clear for the rest of the full Essential Aussie Panel, S Locus & CDDY w /IVDD. Laramie is NOT tested for NAD due to being rehomed before we tested BUT her full sister, Sedona, her daughter Bug as well as her niece, Easy, were all tested & came back as Negative for NAD. m/M272. We DO guarantee our pups for 2 yrs against Genetic problems with a pup replacement program~MUST be supported by Vet Documentation. The pups will be dewormed multiple times, will be microchipped, see a certified vet at 7 weeks for their first set of shots & wellness visit. Our babies are handled multiple times daily & are exposed to dogs of various sizes & ages. Started on paper potty training at 3 weeks of age along with sleeping in an open ended puppy crate to help facilitate crate training once they go to their new homes. Will be dog door trained & will usually be doing 90% of their business outside by the time they are 7-8 weeks old. All pups will have gone for an extended vehicle ride as our vet is an hr one way away from us & I usually have errands to run once I hit the city as well.
